If you still prefer travelling by car, you can park your car at a park and ride car park on the Messe Berlin Exhibition Grounds. From these car parks, public transport can be reached easily.

- At the highway junction Charlottenburg switch to highway A100 (Stadtring) towards Charlottenburg
- Take either the "Kaiserdamm-Süd" or "Messedamm-Nord" exit

- Switch to highway A100 towards Hamburg / Wedding, once you reach the highway junction "Funkturm."
- Take the "Messedamm-Süd" exit. The park and ride car parks are signposted.
From the east(A12) and south east (A13)
depicted as red on the map:
- At the highway junction "Schönefeld", take highway A113 towards Berlin-Zentrum
- Switch to highway A100 at the junction "Neukölln"

Umweltzone Berlin
Since January 1, 2008 there is a Low Emission Zone (LEZ) called "Umweltzone" situated within the S-Bahn ring ("Großer Hundekopf") in Berlin. Only vehicles whose emissions comply with certain emission level standards are allowed into this area. Each vehicle needs a sticker called "Umweltplakette" to enter the LEZ. This affects all residents', workers', merchants', and visitors' vehicles, including those from abroad. The S-Bahn ring is indicated as the Low Emission Zone's boundary by traffic signs at rail tracks' bridges and underbridges. The southern part of the urban highway (Stadtautobahn), which lies within the S-bahn ring, does not belong to the LEZ and is open to vehicles without a sticker, since the highway serves as a by-pass of the LEZ.
By train
If you are arriving by train, you will have direct connections to the Olympiastadion from Berlin Central Station (Hauptbahnhof) and Berlin-Spandau via the S-Bahn lines S9 and S75.
